Cuatro Tetas Basket
Named for their sculptural, feminine shape, the wonderful Cuatro Tetas baskets are made by women artisans from the Eperara Siapidara indigenous community. Originally from Gaupi, a small town on the Pacific Coast of Colombia, they currently live in Bogota, after being displaced by the armed conflict. The weaving of these baskets, which consists of two types of naturally dyed palm fibers named “Tetera” and “Chocolatillo”, constitutes their main source of income.
All of our items are 100% handmade from natural fibers. Please allow for any color and sizing variations, or natural imperfections created during the hand making process.
The basket in the photo is a Large size.
